Trustee Continuity During the Rebuild:
Under the Puketawai Pā Charter 2024, the current Trustees will remain in office throughout the Puketawai Pā Rebuild Project to provide continuity of governance and oversight.
"Note: New Pā Site Arrangement 2024: The Puketawai Pā Trustees will extend their terms throughout the rebuild period. Their terms will resume/begin upon the commencement and opening of the new Pā site."
This provision ensures stability and continuity during the relocation and rebuild of Puketawai Pā, enabling the Trustees to oversee the project through to completion on behalf of the beneficiaries, being the owners, whānau and hapū connected to the reservation.
